 About TIS


Walldorf-based Treasury Intelligence Solutions (TIS) GmbH was established in 2010 to develop cloud-based solutions for corporate finance. Its core product is the TIS Cloud Platform for payment processing, liquidity management and bank relationship management. The Bank Account Management, Payments, Liquidity & Cash Flows and Bank Fee Management modules hosted on this platform enable organisations with multiple bank accounts to realise considerable cost savings while making their cash flows more transparent and manageable.

TIS was the first company to develop a fully internet-based and SAP-certified solution that harmonises end-to-end payment processes across a globally heterogeneous banking landscape, and which furthermore automates the integration with ERP Systems such as SAP.

The company’s founders, all former SAP executives, are experts in their field, particularly in the development and operation of Cloud-solutions : Jörg Wiemer (CEO), former Senior Vice President and Manager, Global Treasury at SAP, Erol Bozak (CTO), former Programme Director and Solution Manager Cloud Computing at SAP and Wolfgang Kalthoff (COO), former Vice President and Programme Manager for SAP’s NetWeaver platform.

TIS currently employs a staff 30, which includes treasury experts, software architects, developers, sales and marketing professionals, as well as software as a service (SaaS) solution specialists. It is backed by the Munich-based venture capitalist Target Partners, one of Germany’s leading VCs. TIS is certified to ISO/IEC Standard 27001 (information security) and is an official SAP software solutions partner within the SAP PartnerEdge programme.

Milestones

  • 04/2013: Via the TIS Cloud-solutions, the TIS customers execute a transaction volume of over EUR 10 billion per year
  • 03/2013: TIS becomes a partner of T-Systems Enterprise Marketplace
  • 09/2012: Market launch of the new Bank Fee Manager (BFM)
  • 07/2012: New partnership with Cellent Finance Solutions AG
  • 04/2012: Renewal of ISO/IEC 27001 data security certification
  • 08/2011: Successful payment order execution by the first BTM customers via the new TIS payment platform
  • 05/2011: Multi-million euro investment in TIS by venture capitalists Target Partners for further development and internationalisation of the web-based payment platform, Bank Transaction Manager (BTM)
  • 05/2011: Distribution partnership commences with Deutsche Bank
  • 04/2011: ISO certification: by successfully complying with the highest security standards, TIS is certified to the ISO/IEC 27001 standard
  • 04/2011: SAP certification for TIS solutions and admission of TIS to the SAP Partner Edge programme
  • 06/2010: First customer successfully connected to Bank Account Manager (BAM)
